Carnegie Mellon University, located in Pittsburgh, seeks a Director of Career Services for the Information Networking Institute to lead career readiness, professional development, and employer relations across INI graduate programs. The role involves coordinating Pittsburgh and Silicon Valley efforts with a hybrid schedule and occasional travel.

You will partner with the CMU-SV Career Services team to design and execute a comprehensive career development strategy, mentor a student consultancy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; master’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in a career counseling role; higher education leadership preferred.
• Combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic vision and day-to-day execution of career readiness and employer relations across the INI graduate programs.
• Guide students in career planning, job searches, and internships; develop strategic employer-relations plans.
• Recruit, train, and manage Peer Career Consultants; build relationships with industry and government contacts.

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (College Student Personnel, Higher Education Administration, Counseling, Engineering, Human Resources)
