Job summary

California Institute of Applied Technology (CIAT) in California remote-friendly is seeking a Director of Career Services to lead career planning and placement for students, alumni, and employers. This exempt, full-time role reports to the VP of Compliance and requires strategic oversight of staff, systems, and partnerships.

You will manage daily operations of Career Services, ensure completion and placement reporting to ACCET, and drive initiatives to improve student outcomes while maintaining

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and management experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years leading teams in higher education environments.
• Minimum 2 years using enterprise CRM systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Experience delivering career services, placement, or student success initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Direct and evaluate a comprehensive career services program for students, alumni, and employers.
• Oversee Career Counseling, Career Services, and Job Fairs.
• Monitor KPIs related to student engagement, retention, completion, and placement.
• Develop policies, budgets, and workflows for department operations.
