Work Opportunities Unlimited (WOU) seeks an Employment Specialist to guide students toward meaningful employment. You’ll help craft resumes, complete applications, and coach for interviews, supporting students aged 14+ as they transition to independence.

Based in Massachusetts, this role requires a valid driver’s license and local travel. The team emphasizes collaboration, flexibility for part-time options, and opportunities for growth within our ESOP-driven organization.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-touch customer service environments.
• Passionate about working with students ages 14+.
• Ability to work both in a team and independently.
• Valid driver’s license and comfortable traveling locally.
• Comfortable using MS Office and documenting notes in electronic systems.

Responsabilités

• Guide students to develop career goals and objectives.
• Help students create a customized resume and complete applications for jobs or school admissions.
• Coach and prepare for interviews.
• Assist students at job sites to ensure success and independence.
• Provide occasional transportation to interviews; mileage reimbursement provided.
