Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, education or closely related field is highly desirable; Master’s degree preferred.
• Three years documented work experience within a professional setting.
• Eligible for or currently holds Georgia certification.
• Experience working with adults and students.
• Alternatives to the above qualifications may be deemed appropriate by the Superintendent and the Board.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate integration of professional essential skills and WBL into students' academic and career pathways.
• Develop and maintain a network of business/community partners for job shadowing, internships, apprenticeships, and other WBL experiences.
• Design and implement workshops and programming to enhance communication, teamwork, and career readiness.
• Monitor student participation and maintain accurate records of progress toward employability goals.
• Collect and analyze student performance data to drive program improvement and meet state WBL compliance requirements.
• Manage program logistics including budget, equipment inventory, and supply requests.
• Maintain program certifications, documentation, and reports as required by district/state standards.
• Serve as a resource to teachers, counselors, and administrators regarding career readiness standards.
• Provide individual student advising on employability and placement into WBL settings.
