Job summary

The Fedcap Group seeks a Work Readiness Instructor in Washington, DC to advance the Career Mobility Action Plan. You will deliver work readiness, life skills, and employment preparation to families, helping participants prepare for job search and long‑term economic mobility.

You will collaborate with Navigators, DHS Workforce Development Specialists, Job Developers, employers, and partners to connect participants with unsubsidized employment, support retention, wage growth, and ongoing career

Qualifications

• Experience delivering work readiness instruction and life skills training.
• Ability to coordinate job search activities and employment services.
• Strong collaboration with program staff, navigators, and employers.
• Comfortable coaching participants toward employment goals and retention.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain work readiness and life skills curricula.
• Plan instructional materials and deliver engaging workshops.
• Coach participants through employment preparation and job search.
• Assist with identifying employment opportunities and planning.
• Monitor progress and adjust strategies to close skill gaps.
• Maintain documentation of participant progress and outcomes.
