Job summary

Equus Workforce Solutions is seeking a Career Planner to provide employers with qualified candidates by developing local job seekers through planning and program services. You will connect job seekers to open positions and assist businesses in recruiting top applicants, while interviewing customers to assess service needs and guiding them with individualized employment plans.

The role includes ongoing case management, accurate documentation, and liaison duties between customers and service

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in social services, HR, communications, business or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years' experience in staffing, recruiting, or workforce development with at least one year's experience using computer systems for data entry and data review.
• Previous workforce experience and/or case management experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to read and interpret procedures and maintain files per guidelines.

• Provide employers with qualified candidates by developing local job seekers through planning, program services, and referrals.
• Connect job seekers to open positions resulting in employment.
• Assist businesses in recruiting the best applicants for their jobs.
• Conduct interviews to assess service needs and develop individual employment plans.
• Maintain ongoing case management and act as liaison between customers and service providers.
• Document all customer interactions with well-written case notes.
• Maintain knowledge of market research tools and industry trends for placement guidance.
• Ensure case files meet programmatic requirements and provide timely service.
