Dynamic Workforce Solutions seeks a Career Planner to connect local job seekers with employers by planning, advising, and referring candidates to viable opportunities. You will assess needs, develop individual employment plans, and coordinate with service providers to place candidates in training or jobs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social services, Human Resources, Communications, Business, or equivalent experience is required.
• Minimum of two years' experience in staffing, recruiting, or workforce development with at least one year's experience working with computer systems for data entry and data review.
• Previous workforce experience and/or case management experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency with verbal and written communication skills as well as demonstrated customer service skills and computer skills.
• Knowledge of employment and recruiting practices; ability to assess employability skills; understanding of program policy; familiarity with regulatory entities and laws; ability to read and interpret procedures; ability to prepare routine reports; ability to enter data into computerized system; ability to maintain files per guidelines; strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide employers with qualified candidates by developing local job seekers through planning, program services, and referrals.
• Make connections for job seekers to open positions resulting in employment.
• Help businesses recruit the best applicants for their jobs.
• Interview customers to assess service needs.
• Assist customers in developing and implementing plans to enhance employment skills.
• Identify barriers and refer to appropriate resources.
• Provide career advisement through development of individual employment plans and referrals to jobs or training.
• Maintain case files and ensure program requirements are met.
• Document all customer interactions with clear case notes.
• Stay informed about market research tools and industry trends to guide placement.
• Ensure case files meet programmatic requirements and provide timely service to customers and employers.
