Job summary

America Works of Washington, Inc. in Shelton, WA is seeking a Career Coach to provide participant-centered career guidance, case management, and employment services within a workforce development program serving Mason and Pacific Counties.

Based in Shelton with regular travel, this full-time, day-shift role supports participants from intake to placement, helping them set career goals and access training, work-based learning, and employment opportunities.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent combination considered.
• Experience in customer service, coaching, workforce development, or social services.
• Strong verbal and written communication; professional demeanor.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, engage, and support participants throughout their workforce development journey.
• Conduct assessments to understand goals, barriers, and service needs.
• Develop and maintain individualized career pathway plans with goals and steps.
• Provide ongoing coaching, follow-up, and job search support.
• Coordinate services with the Career Success Team and partners.
