Job summary

America Works of Washington, Inc. is seeking a Career Coach to guide participants in Lewis County and neighboring areas.

The role focuses on career guidance, case management, and employment services within a workforce development program. You will collaborate with team members to coordinate services, connect participants with training providers and employers, and support progression toward long‑term economic stability.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, coaching, education, or workforce development.
• Experience helping diverse individuals navigate barriers to employment.
• Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with CRM tools and Microsoft 365 applications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, engage, and support participants throughout their workforce development journey.
• Conduct assessments to understand participant goals, skills, barriers, and needs.
• Develop individualized career pathway plans with measurable goals.
• Provide ongoing coaching and follow-up to support progress and outcomes.
• Assist participants with career exploration, training opportunities, and job search strategies.
• Document and coordinate services across the Career Success Team and partners.
