Job summary

Northern Wyoming Community College District is seeking a Career Pathways Counselor to join Sheridan College in a full-time, in-person role in the Business department. The counselor will manage data from YouScience and other sources to support student advising and career pathway planning, collaborating with educators, counselors, and regional partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in business, education, workforce development, communications, or related field.
• Mastery of Microsoft Office programs, LMS (Canvas), and instructional technology.
• Familiarity with K-12 and community college systems, CTE, work-based learning, credentials.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Foster employer involvement in career pathway design, curriculum development, and industry-recognized credentials.
• Align student learning experiences with current and emerging workforce needs.
• Collaborate with regional partners to strengthen education-to-industry pathways.
• Interpret and apply assessment data (YouScience) for advisory purposes.
• Manage and distribute career assessment data across partner institutions.
• Identify and pursue grant opportunities to fund work-based learning initiatives.
• Support community outreach and collaborations with diverse industries.
• Assist in providing guidance to students about pathway options from AS/AAS to BAS.
