Job summary

Dynamic Workforce Solutions in Decorah, IA seeks a Career Planner to connect jobseekers with open local opportunities and deliver tailored program services. You will assess needs, provide career guidance, coordinate referrals, and maintain thorough case notes to support successful placements.

You will engage with businesses and community resources, conduct outreach, and ensure compliance with program requirements while delivering high-quality customer service to both jobseekers and employers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social services, HR, Communications, Business, or equivalent experience is required.
• Minimum of two years' experience in indirect Employment Specialist/staffing related roles.
• Experience in insurance, customer service, sales, and administrative work preferred.
• Workforce experience and/or case management preferred.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills and customer service skills.
• Computer skills proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Connect jobseekers with open positions to achieve employment.
• Help businesses recruit the best applicants for their jobs.
• Community outreach.
• Interview customers to assess service needs.
• Develop and implement individual employment plans and referrals.
• Identify barriers and refer to resources.
• Provide career advisement and job placement support.
• Maintain ongoing case management and liaison with service providers.
• Document all customer interactions with well-written case notes.
• Keep knowledge of market trends to guide placement or education.
• Ensure case files meet programmatic requirements.
• Deliver valued and timely service to jobseekers and employers.
• Demonstrate Extreme Customer Service in all interactions.
