Job summary

Dynamic Workforce Solutions in Stillwater, OK is seeking a Career Navigator to provide integrated workforce planning and assist customers in developing, evaluating, and implementing employment plans. You will work with customers and service providers to locate opportunities and to initiate and sustain employment and training pathways.

The role focuses on building and maintaining contact with customers, delivering tailored employment services, and coordinating with partners to meet program goals.

Qualifications

• Basic computer literacy including ability to use the Internet and Microsoft Office products.
• Keyboarding skills mandatory.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and customer-service orientation.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Bilingual candidates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interviews customers to assess ongoing service needs and employment opportunities.
• Coaches customers to present themselves effectively as candidates for placement.
• Provide career advisement including development of placement plans, referrals to jobs, and retention services.
• Performs visits to customers' homes, training providers' sites, and employment sites.
• Develops and implements service plans to meet customer needs and updates as needed.
• Coordinates service provider activities.
• Implements prescribed program procedures and accurate case management.
• Maintains a comprehensive caseload of job seekers and documents interactions.
• Provides ongoing employment services and guidance to help participants retain employment.
• Addresses the unique needs and barriers of customers and ensures equitable access for all.
