Job summary

Dynamic Workforce Solutions in Atoka, OK, is seeking a Career Navigator to provide integrated workforce planning for career center customers and help develop, evaluate, and initiate employment plans. You will maintain contact with customers and service providers to meet service needs and support self-assessment.

The role emphasizes extreme customer service, supports placement and retention services, and may involve overtime as needed. Office location includes Atoka and nearby areas.

Qualifications

• Customer/client focus, learning orientation, communication proficiency, teamwork orientation, technical capacity.
• Basic computer literacy including ability to use the Internet and Microsoft Office products.
• Keyboarding skills mandatory.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and customer-service orientation.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Bilingual candidates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interviews customers to assess ongoing service needs, obtain occupational information and explore the full range of employment opportunities and/or training.
• Coaches customers to present themselves effectively as candidates and obtain optimal placement in employment or further occupational information.
• Provide career advisement including the development of individual employment/placement plans, referrals to jobs, placement in training or education programs, job placement or advancement, and retention services.
• Performs visits to customers' homes, training providers' sites, and /or employment sites.
• Utilize Extreme Customer Service behaviors in all interactions with internal and external customers.
