Trinity Industries, Inc. is hiring a Career Material Handler at our Distribution Center in Fort Worth, TX.

The Career Material Handler role is ideal for a resilient, team-oriented individual who embraces challenges.

In this role, the Material Handler performs shop order-picking activities within an assigned warehouse area.

What you'll do:

• Use the ERP system (BPCS/LX) for inventory transactions and inquiries, including mobile barcode devices
• Optimize storage locations based on part velocity and volume policies
• Act as backup for multiple areas when needed
• Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts, man-lifts, and pallet jacks to move materials
• Ensure accurate material counts and proper storage according to policies and procedures
• Identify part types and storage methods for your area
• Perform put-away and picking functions using BPCS barcode devices
• Maintain accurate stock counts, locations, and product IDs
• Rearrange materials for optimization as directed
• Complete all necessary paperwork
• Follow safety rules and practices
• Participate in safety committees or initiatives as required
