Overview

The Material Handler will be responsible for locating and distributing materials to specified production areas, either manually or using a handcart, hand truck, or forklift.

Reports to: Manufacturing Supervisor

1st Shift: 6:00 am – 4:30 p.m.

FLSA Status: Non- exempt

The Material Handler will be responsible for locating and distributing materials to specified production areas, either manually or using a handcart, hand truck, or forklift.

Essential Functions

• Locate and distribute materials to specified production areas, either manually or using a handcart, hand truck, or forklift.
  
  

Qualifications

• Organizational skills: Ability to maintain order and efficiency in material handling operations.
• Ability to lift heavy materials: Physical strength and stamina to handle materials and operate equipment as needed.
• 2+ years of material handling experience: Demonstrated experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  
  

Required Education And Experience

• High school diploma required.
• Experience driving a sit down forklift
