Qualifications

• Successful completion of a work simulation and medical-physical examination.

Responsibilities

• Maintains state highway systems, including filling joints and patches; traffic control and site setup.
• Maintains and repairs state highway facilities, including signs, guardrails, curbs, gutters, and equipment.
• Operates vehicles to transport personnel and materials, and to assist in snow plowing and ice control.
• May install signs and perform structural work; may repair bridge components at heights with scaffolding.
• May work overtime or at night and operate various heavy equipment.
