Job summary
Life Care Centers of America in Washington state is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to provide direct rehab care under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist (OT). You will work with an interdisciplinary team to support long-term and post-acute patients in a compassionate, patient-centered environment.
Required NBCOT certification at hire, active state licensure, and CPR. Prior experience is preferred but new grads are welcome to apply.
Qualifications
- NBCOT certification required at hire; renewal optional.
- Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program (ASOT).
- Currently registered/licensed in applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
- One (1) year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply.
- CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
Responsibilities
- Follow occupational treatment plans under supervision of the OT.
- Chart appropriately and timely.
- Utilize therapy software appropriately and accurately.
- Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
- Assist in the evacuation of patients.
- Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance.
- Communicate and function on an interdisciplinary team.
