Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is a leader in the property management industry seeking an Assistant Manager. The role supports the Community Manager in overseeing financial and operational aspects of the community.

Responsibilities include reporting, customer service, collecting monies, coordinating evictions, renewals, data entry, and showing model apartments. AMC offers competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• 6 months experience in the property management industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to stay professional and courteous in a fast-paced environment.
• Organizational skills with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee file management and run assigned reports.
• Utilize customer service and sales techniques to respond to resident requests.
• Collect all monies due and oversee evictions, skips, and move-outs by walking units.
• Communicate with outside legal counsel during eviction processes.
• Finalize move in/out and renewal files and enter data into property management software.
• Oversee resident renter's insurance procedures.
• Collect deposits and process applications from future residents.
• Ensure model/target apartments are ready for show and maintain a clean workspace.
• Maintain knowledge of lease terms, unit specs, availability and policies.
