Job summary

The University of Scranton is seeking an Assistant Director of Career Development to lead career coaching and education initiatives for undergraduate students, graduate students, and alumni. Reporting to the Director, you will supervise staff and interns and ensure a consistent, high‑quality coaching experience.

You will drive a holistic program that supports vocational discernment, professional development, and post‑graduate success, while partnering with faculty, employers, and campus partners

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Higher Education/Student Affairs, or related field.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage priorities.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in career coaching or workforce development preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead career coaching and education functions for students and alumni.
• Supervise and mentor staff and interns.
• Develop and assess career education and readiness programs.
• Coordinate selective internship programs and employer partnerships.
