Job summary

Ancora Education is seeking a Career Services Coach to provide ongoing career development and employability coaching to active students, graduates and alumni through classroom presentations, workshops, and one-on-one sessions.

The role collaborates with the Director of Career Services and staff to assess progress, schedule mock interviews, assist with resume writing, and guide job searches while maintaining accurate CampusVue records.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Business, HR, Communications, or related field.
• 1 year work experience in recruiting, staffing, HR, counseling or business.
• Experience developing community connections.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Customer service and public presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound activities to engage graduates with the team.
• Provide career guidance and maintain professional standards.
• Coordinate resume prep, interview techniques, and job-search sessions.
• Collect graduate employment criteria to tailor assistance.
• Offer one-on-one coaching sessions with students and graduates.
• Support job search efforts with leads and online applications.
• Outreach to employers to identify opportunities for students.
• Maintain student records in CampusVue and ensure data accuracy.
• Maintain confidentiality of student and school information.
• Participate in school events and externship activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
