NC State University is seeking a Career Counselor for CALS Career Services to enhance the professional development of students through counseling and training. This full-time position involves engaging with over 4,500 students, offering resources, and conducting workshops tailored to their majors.

The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree and possess at least 2 years of experience in higher education career services, with excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, with a minimum of 2 years of related professional experience in higher education career services.
• Master’s degree or working towards it in career counseling or higher education with 2+ years of experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide individual career counseling and coaching to CALS students and alumni.
• Conduct career development presentations and workshops.
• Coordinate with faculty for training programs and events.
• Engage with alumni and industry professionals for student support.
