Research Triangle High School is seeking a highly organized, student-centered School Counselor to join our Student Services team in North Carolina. You will support students’ academic achievement, social-emotional development, postsecondary planning, and overall success.

The ideal candidate collaborates with students, families, teachers, administrators, and community partners, manages multiple responsibilities, and meets deadlines.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in School Counseling or related field.
• North Carolina licensure preferred/required as applicable.
• Experience with high school students.
• Knowledge of graduation requirements, academic planning, and college/career readiness.
• Familiarity with ASCA National Model.
• Experience serving diverse student populations.

Responsibilities

• Establish and evaluate a comprehensive school counseling program aligned with goals and standards.
• Provide individual and group counseling to students with academic, behavioral, social-emotional, or personal concerns.
• Monitor student progress toward graduation and coordinate interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with administrators, teachers, families, and staff to support students.
• Coordinate program compliance and maintain confidential records.
