Job summary

KRA Corporation in Compton, CA is seeking a dedicated Career Coach to empower individuals to reach employment goals through personalized guidance and connection to opportunities.

You will manage a caseload of WIOA customers, provide assessment, coaching, and plan development, and coordinate services with partners across the community. Strong communication and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; degree may be substituted for eight years of experience.
• Minimum two years of experience in training, counseling, and/or case management.
• Substantial career coaching and case management experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide career counseling and intensive case management to WIOA customers.
• Complete intake and eligibility determinations for WIOA Adults and Dislocated Workers.
• Assess jobseekers' needs via interview, testing, and other methods.
• Guide jobseekers through individual employment plans (IEP).
• Refer customers to services and track outcomes.
• Conduct orientations, workshops, job clubs, and group presentations.
• Maintain compliant case files and data entries.
• Meet program benchmarks and complete required reports.
