Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social services or related field is required.
• Experience in a fast-paced, team environment that is performance driven.
• Exceptional customer service and engagement skills; training or experience in motivational interviewing and care management techniques.
• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Experience with publicly-funded programs; TANF experience preferable.
• Knowledge of laws and regulatory requirements related to program responsibilities.
• Ability to use various electronic systems to carry out duties and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Handle job placement or job retention assignments as part of a team.
• Place work-ready customers into employment and help them retain employment.
• Provide one-on-one coaching to help job seekers find and keep work for at least one year.
• Conduct workshops for employed customers to support retention skills.
• Review assessments and align goals with vocational and employment steps.
• Provide case management, coaching, and counseling to advance activities and goals.
• Engage with customers to keep them connected to work activities.
• Coordinate with service providers to ensure needed support for employment.
• Refer clients to open positions that match employment goals with Business Services Coordinators.
• Use daily feedback to improve performance and outcomes.
• Follow HRA policies and procedures for vocational rehabilitation services.
• Document work activities using standard forms and online processes.
• Perform additional duties to move clients toward employment goals.
