Description

We have an opening for a part-time, casual career coach based in Phoenix, AZ, to support our relocation and/or outplacement solutions. Relocation services include supporting employees and their spouses/families as they acclimate to new cities and assisting spouses/partners with employment search. Outplacement services involve working with employees to find new career opportunities.

The coach works one-on-one with employees of our client companies who are relocating or seeking new employment in the area. The coach utilizes IMPACT Group's technology and coaching methodology and also supports spouses or partners of relocating employees with job search assistance.

This position is part-time, casual (hours vary), remote, approximately 15-20 hours per week, with no guaranteed hours.

Location is US-based, in Arizona only:

• Establishes rapport with employees and motivates them to achieve goals.
• Guides employees through coaching processes and milestone completion.
• Advises on career development, transition issues, and career options.
• Provides coaching on resume writing, marketing techniques, personal branding, LinkedIn optimization, interview preparation, and salary negotiations.
• Maintains electronic records of services provided to each employee, following internal guidelines.
• Monitors progress, offers advice to improve job search skills, and addresses personal issues affecting careers.

Requirements

Minimum three years of experience in delivering job search strategy and career coaching to individuals across various industries and levels, including resume development, interview prep, career exploration, LinkedIn profiles, and other social media platforms.

• Resides in the Phoenix, AZ area and has knowledge of local job markets.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with virtual coaching.
• Experience navigating VISA challenges and career continuation scenarios is a plus.
• Tech-savvy with high-speed internet, a personal computer, and a headset with a microphone (telecommuting/remote).

Ideal Candidate

• Master’s degree in human behavior, business, or a related field (preferred).
• Coaching certification or training (highly regarded).
• Personal relocation experience to a different city or country.
