Job summary

Eckerd Connects is hiring a Workforce Career Coach to guide participants through employment and educational pathways, meeting regulatory requirements and documenting progress. You will recruit, train, and support participants as they develop skills and pursue opportunities in the community.

The role requires working with diverse populations, delivering work readiness training, and building relationships with employers. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years relevant work experience with the target population.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or online database tracking systems.
• Must have a valid state driver’s license and be able to meet Eckerd’s Auto Insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary contact with participants and stakeholders, documenting eligibility, participation, and follow-up per program procedures.
• Recruit for the program and connect participants with employment and education opportunities.
• Deliver skills training in software, work readiness, and basic math and reading.
• Develop presentation and facilitation skills to engage participants in meeting goals.
• Engage with employers and community organizations to market the program and opportunities.
