YWCA Seattle King Snohomish in Seattle is seeking a BFET Employment Specialist to guide participants toward employment, assess eligibility, and coordinate training and referrals. You’ll build relationships with employers and community partners across King County and maintain records to support program outcomes.

The role requires 1–2 years in employment services, strong communication, and a commitment to racial equity.

Qualifikationen

• One to two years of experience in employment services, case management, community services, or a related field.
• Ability to provide supportive, participant-centered guidance to people facing employment barriers.
• Commitment to YWCA’s mission, racial equity, and working respectfully with diverse communities.
• Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills, with attention to accurate records and follow-through.

Aufgaben

• Recruit, interview, screen, enroll, and orient eligible Basic Food recipients to the BFET program.
• Receive referrals from DSHS and determine participants’ eligibility for program services.
• Connect participants with services and coordinate training arrangements as applicable.
• Provide follow-up after placement to support job retention and progress.
