MAPGA, the Middle Atlantic PGA, invites applications for an Executive Director to lead its Stafford, Virginia-based Section. The role serves as chief executive and public-facing ambassador, shaping strategy and delivering value to over 1,200 PGA Professionals and Associates across multiple states.

The successful candidate will unite members, staff, volunteers, industry partners, and PGA of America leadership. Strong leadership, financial oversight, and strategic planning are essential.

Qualificações

• Four-year college degree or higher preferred.
• Significant leadership experience in association management, nonprofit leadership, golf, hospitality, business, or related industry.
• Experience developing and executing strategic plans.
• Experience with revenue generation, sponsorship development, partnerships, and/or fundraising.
• Experience managing budgets and financial resources.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the chief executive leader of the MAPGA and oversee all Section business activities and programs.
• Translate the Board’s strategic direction into priorities, initiatives, and measurable results.
• Serve as a visible ambassador for the Section, with professionalism, integrity, energy, and credibility.
• Establish a culture of transparency, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain alignment between the Board, staff, committees, volunteers, and membership.
• Enter into contracts and commitments on behalf of the Section while keeping leadership informed.
• Manage the Section’s financial affairs and subsidiary organizations.
