Durham Technical Community College seeks a Career Coach in the High School Partnerships Department to promote a seamless transition from high school to college. You will guide students in career exploration, help identify programs, and support planning for post-secondary success.
You will collaborate with faculty, staff, and school partners to deliver work-based learning and college readiness activities, engaging a broad set of stakeholders to maximize student outcomes.

A minimum of a 40-hour work week as determined by the supervisor to allow the employee to fulfill the assigned duties and responsibilities, including evening and occasional weekend hours. Summer schedules may vary. Availability for both day and evening employment on any Durham Technical Community College site (or arranged off-campus site) is required. Travel: Local travel is required, including between campus locations. Out-of-state travel is limited but may be required for special training/conferences.

Do Great Things! Durham Technical Community College is hiring a Career Coachin the High School Partnerships Department. The Career Coach works collaboratively with faculty and staff of Durham Tech and Orange County Schools to promote and deliver a seamless transition process for high school students into the college. The Career Coach is responsible for helping high school students define their career aspirations and identify community college programs and/or training to meet their career goals. The Career Coach will educate students to make informed decisions regarding career and academic plans in preparation for success in post-secondary education and training.
