Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Mid-Michigan in Genesee County is seeking a Full-Time Career Coach to support individuals with disabilities in reaching vocational and IPOS goals, coordinating tasks, and promoting personal growth.

The role offers $17.13 per hour with a 20% in-store discount, and a benefits package including health, dental and vision insurance, 10 holidays, vacation, PTO, direct deposit, and more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required with a preference toward those with an Associate’s Degree.
• At least one year of experience working with people who have disabilities.
• Two years production and/or training experience highly desirable.
• Must have computer skills and be able to type a minimum of 30 words per minute.
• Experience in small business community preferred.
• Graphic Design experience is a plus.

Other Qualifications:

• Ability to function as a job coach for people with disabilities.
• Dependable, tact, resourcefulness, initiative, and good judgment.
• MDCH Direct Care Training or equivalent or complete training within 30 days.
• Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, a safe driving record and maintain car insurance.
• May require lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Requires standing and/or walking for periods of time.
