Job summary

Edsi-9 in Michigan is seeking a Career Coach to support program participants in obtaining and retaining employment and advancing their careers. You will provide consistent case management, coaching, and follow-up to help participants reach their goals.

The role requires assessing work, family, and personal development needs; creating activity plans; and documenting all contacts. You will refer participants to community services and collaborate with partner agencies to meet state Work

Qualifications

• Minimum educational background: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in human services or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage caseloads and document visits.
• Proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent case management, coaching and follow-up with participants.
• Create activity plans and document contacts in case notes.
• Coach participants on work readiness and career exploration.
• Collaborate with partner agencies and monitor WPR requirements.
• Prepare program reports and ensure participant documentation is complete.
• Perform timely data entries.
