What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

1. Maintain readiness in a fast-paced contact center work environment to support military spouses
2. Assess military spouses' needs and provide them with individualized available Government-approved resources
3. Provide education and career advising, including recommendations for online and distance education, financial assistance resources, and occupational licensing
4. Schedule career coaching appointments
5. Assist with troubleshooting website access and administration of a military spouse scholarship program

What is Required (Qualifications):

1. Bachelor's degree AND 4+ years professional experience providing educational, career, or employment advising to diverse adult populations
2. 3 years' experience in training development, public speaking, and group facilitation
3. 2 years' experience supervising or overseeing social services and/or education programs
4. U.S. Citizenship due to US Government systems access
5. Reliable home internet service with speeds in excess of 3Mb in both directions
6. Strong technology and research skills
7. Positive and approachable personality with strong communication skills
8. Active listening and critical thinking skills
9. Availability for full-time training schedule for the first 6-8 weeks of employment

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

1. Active certification through NAWDP, NBCC, or NCDA
2. Experience working in a contact center or educational service operations environment
3. Military or military spouse or veteran or wounded warrior experience
4. Experience working in a structured environment with set schedules
5. Ability to build rapport with individuals in a remote/virtual setting
