Job summary

Equus Workforce Solutions is seeking a dedicated staff member in California to support job seekers through comprehensive career advisement and program facilitation. You will build one-on-one relationships, conduct orientation, and coordinate services aligned with funding contracts.

You will manage workshops, document activities, and ensure accuracy of enrollment and placement data while collaborating with schools and account managers to meet contractual obligations.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in career advisement and development, workshop facilitation, developing workforce curriculum.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in education, social services, healthcare and/or communications.
• Customer service experience required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build professional one-on-one relationships with clients to aid in eliminating challenges that hinder employment attainment and retention.
• Provide consistent case management and follow-up.
• Conduct new customer orientation and ensure required documentation is completed and received.
• Facilitate all professional development workshops.
• Maintain organized database of clients and detailed documentation of all contacts.
