Job summary

Lone Star College invites applications for the Advisor II, Workforce to assist workforce and CTE students across programs. You will guide students from admission through completion and into job search, coordinating referrals and resources to support success.

This is a temporary, grant-funded position with continuation dependent on funding. You will collaborate with faculty and staff to expand student success and program outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of experience in education or workforce advising.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• High level of customer service and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Advise workforce and CTE students from career guidance through program completion and job search preparations.
• Provide information on program requirements, transfer options, and labor market information.
• Assist with resumes, cover letters, and interview preparation; track student progress.
