Qualifications

• Associated degree preferred or equivalent work experience
• WIOA and/or RESEA experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and professional communication in individual or group settings
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage time effectively

Responsibilities

• Manages a caseload of WIOA and RESEA participants and provides counseling and mentoring
• Assesses participant competencies, work history, education, skills and abilities; identifies challenges to employment and guides solutions
• Conducts regular meetings with participants for job search, education, job readiness
• Develops individualized employment plans and documents services received
• Maintains information on area resources and employers
• Tracks attendance and employment retention goals; notifies agencies of changes in hours
• Maintains participant files and progress throughout the program cycle
• Provides case management to help customers access training and employment services
• Performs additional duties as assigned
