Job summary

Eastern Iowa Community College District seeks a Career Academy Advisor to support scheduling, communication, and coordination across Career Academies in multiple EICC locations. The ideal candidate provides direct service to administrators to collect data on students who participate and supports Concurrent Enrollment Advisors and CCTCs with information regarding guided pathways and academy opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of equivalent experience.
• Advanced English language skills—grammar, spelling, and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in computer and technology applications.
• Excel skills for data documentation.

Responsibilities

• Works with the Dean and Associate Dean of Concurrent Enrollment to ensure NACEP accreditation measures are satisfied.
• Collaborates with Marketing to develop and promote materials and website information.
• Regular travel to area high schools to support administrative functions in specified regions.
• Meet with teachers, students, counselors, principals, CCTCs, and Advisors to promote Career Academies.
• Maintain and update career academy information with Curriculum and Concurrent Enrollment teams.
