St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Clerical Assistant for the Observation Unit in Florence. The role supports clerical duties, greeting patients, answering phones, and maintaining accurate patient records under supervision of licensed staff.

The position is full-time equivalent, 32 hours per week, 2nd shift (3:00 PM–11:30 PM) with every-other weekend and some holiday requirements. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer literacy needed.
• Prior clerical experience including phone etiquette and data entry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients/visitors and answer telephone in a courteous manner.
• Organize and perform clerical duties related to admission, discharges, and transfers in Epic.
• Update and maintain patient records as prescribed by policy.
• Relay written/verbal information to medical staff accurately.
• Assist in maintaining supplies and participate in unit improvement activities.
