NYU Langone Health in New York is seeking an Operations Manager to lead Care Management administrative staff and streamline transitions of care to sub-acute providers. This role focuses on compliant, timely workflows for referrals, authorizations, and documentation.

The manager partners with Social Work, Care Managers, physicians, and post-acute providers to reduce length of stay and avoid readmissions, while ensuring HIPAA compliance and strong data tracking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of people management or supervisory experience.
• Working knowledge of post-acute care settings and discharge planning workflows.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all organizational levels.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise Care Management Assistants, including scheduling and performance management.
• Establish SOPs, service-level expectations, and quality checks for referrals and handoffs.
• Lead onboarding, training, and competency validation for CMAs.
• Oversee end-to-end administrative processes for sub-acute referrals and pre-authorizations.
• Maintain dashboards and real-time updates for the care team.
• Identify delays and drive process improvements to reduce readmissions.
