Job summary

Vail Health in Edwards, CO seeks a Care Technician to provide patient care and support for the care team. The role is a PRN/pool shift with potential for varied days, and involves regular patient check-ins and accurate information relay to providers.

Responsibilities include vital signs collection, room prep, coordinating patient flow, and maintaining infection control standards. Requires BLS and Colorado licenses as applicable.

Qualifications

• One year of experience as a care tech preferred.
• BLS required.
• License options include EMT, CNA, CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, MAC, NRCMA.
• N/A Education.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care including vital signs collection and documentation in the EMR.
• Coordinate daily patient flow and schedule to optimize care, safety and satisfaction.
• Demonstrate ability to work with providers by accurately receiving and implementing orders.
• Maintain infection control and a clean, safe patient environment.
• Document and collect data such as vital signs and PreOp information.
