Job summary

Vail Health is seeking a Care Technician to support the care team by performing patient care, collecting vital signs, and documenting in the EMR. This role serves as a primary point of contact for patients, coordinating daily flow, and ensuring safety and comfort in the care environment.

The position requires one year of care tech experience (preferred) and Colorado licenses such as EMT, CNA, CMA, or equivalent, along with Basic Life Support (BLS).

Qualifications

• One year of experience as a care tech preferred.
• Licenses in Colorado are required or CMA/ CNA / EMT credentials listed.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care including collecting information and vital signs.
• Document input/output and treatments in the EMR accurately.
• Coordinate daily patient flow and room prep for exams and procedures.
• Support providers by receiving and implementing orders precisely.
• Maintain infection control and clean, safe patient areas.
