Vail Health is seeking a Care Technician to support the care team by performing patient care, collecting vital signs, and documenting treatments in the EMR. You will help coordinate daily patient flow, prepare rooms for exams, and ensure safety and infection control across patient areas.

The role emphasizes HIPAA compliance and compassionate, culturally competent care. The position requires licensure/certification in Colorado (EMT, CNA, CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, MAC, NRCMA) and BLS, with at least

Qualifications

• One year of experience as a care tech preferred.
• Licensure/certification in EMT, CNA, CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, MAC or NRCMA is required or preferred.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care including collection of patient information, vital signs, and documentation in EMR.
• Coordinate daily patient flow and rooms for exams and procedures.
• Receive and implement provider instructions and orders.
• Maintain patient safety, infection control, and a clean environment.
• Document and track patient data, vitals, and PreOp checks.
• Respect patient privacy and HIPAA requirements.
