Job summary

Vail Health in Colorado is seeking a Care Technician to support the care team by performing patient care, collecting information, and relaying updates to providers. This role often serves as the first point of contact for patients, handling vital signs, scheduling and room prep, and ensuring a safe, HIPAA-compliant environment.

Pay ranges $22–$28.39 per hour, with wellbeing benefits and a 403(b) contribution eligibility.

Qualifications

• One year of experience as a care tech preferred.
• License/certification options include EMT, CNA, CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, MAC, NRCMA, and BLS.

Responsibilities

• Assist with and perform patient care, including vital signs and documentation in the EMR.
• Coordinate daily patient flow and prepare rooms for exams.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control policies.
• Document and collect data such as vital signs and PreOp checklist information.
• Adhere to HIPAA and Just Culture principles.
