Job summary

Vail Health in Edwards, CO is seeking a Care Technician, Infusion to support the care team. You will be the first point of contact for patients, help collect information, monitor vital signs, update the EMR, and coordinate daily patient flow to optimize safety and satisfaction.

This role requires EMT/CNA/CMA/RMA/NCMA/CCMA/MAC/NRCMA or BLS certification, with at least one year of care tech experience preferred.

Qualifications

• One of the listed licenses or certifications is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with and performs patient care including collection of patient information, accurate reading and documentation of vital signs, and recording input and output activities and treatments on the EMR.
• Coordinate daily patient flow and schedule to optimize care, safety and satisfaction, including preparing rooms for exams and procedures.
• Demonstrates ability to work with providers by accurately receiving and implementing instructions and orders.
• Demonstrates clinical knowledge to meet patient care needs across age groups.
• Performs office procedures such as scheduling, admitting, and discharging patients.
• Maintains diagnostic and medication logs and documents care in records.
• Supports infection control and a clean, safe environment in patient areas.
• Diversity and cultural competency in patient interactions.
