Job summary

Premise Health is seeking a PRN Care Technician to support client employees at United Airlines in our Tamuning Health Center, GU. You will provide frontline medical support in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) required.
• Associate degree or equivalent Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant program preferred.
• Experience in health center/doctor's office or long-term care.
• Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients and measure vital signs.
• Maintain patient health records.
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments.
• Perform CLIA waived tests and operate EKG and diagnostic equipment; collect specimens.
• Handle administrative tasks, front desk duties, schedule appointments and follow-up calls.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

As a PRNCare Technician, you'll provide care to client employees of United Airlines in our Health Center located in Tamuning, GU.

Schedule

• PRN as Needed
• Clinic Hours: Mon - Fri 8:00 am - 7:00 pm; Sat 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

What You’ll Do

• Interviews patients and measures vital signs (pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height)
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Prepares treatment rooms, cleans and sterilizes instruments
• Performs routine CLIA waived laboratory tests, operates EKG and other diagnostic equipment, and collects specimens
• Performs administrative tasks, assists at the front desk, schedules appointments, makes follow-up calls, and orders medical supplies
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required
• Associate’s degree or equivalent from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant Program training program preferred
• Work experience in health center/ doctor’s office setting patient and/or long-term care
• Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records preferred
