Job summary

Senior Helpers – Charleston is seeking a dependable Care Team Coordinator to oversee caregivers, manage scheduling, and support training and client care. You will ensure accurate scheduling records and coordinate caregiver introductions and client visits.

The role requires leadership, organization, and strong communication skills, with experience in caregiver training and a fast-paced environment. Collaboration with a branch team is essential for maintaining high-quality client care.

Qualifications

• Healthcare background preferred (CNA, LPN, nursing, or related field).
• Strong leadership, communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
• Previous caregiver training or supervisory experience preferred.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and scheduling software.
• Reliable, professional and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage caregiver scheduling, callouts, shift changes, and weekend/on-call coverage.
• Maintain accurate caregiver availability and records in scheduling software.
• Coordinate new caregiver introductions and first client visits.
• Conduct caregiver orientations, skills assessments, and ongoing training.
• Coach caregivers on attendance, performance, and company expectations.
• Review timesheets and care logs to ensure compliance with care plans.
• Track training, attendance, and performance issues.
• Support caregiver recognition and team morale.
• Work closely with the care team to resolve staffing and client-care concerns.
