Job summary

Beacon Specialized in Jackson, MI seeks a Care Team Manager to lead home operations and supervise DSPs, ensuring high-quality care and regulatory compliance. The role focuses on maintaining facilities and coordinating contracted services to meet budgets and clinical goals.

You will support supervisors in managing staff, ensuring training, and addressing maintenance and service needs across homes in the region.

Qualifications

Minimum two years of college coursework in business or social science, or related field.
High school diploma or GED required.
2–3 years leadership experience in healthcare or behavioral health preferred.
1–2 years management or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Always be compliant with all company and regulatory policies and procedures.
Operate assigned home(s) to meet or exceed budgets and clinical effectiveness set by company/customers.
Supports and supervises assigned Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), ensuring each has training and skills to provide high-quality care.
Maintains assigned home(s) and ensures good working order of all related systems, facilities, and furnishings.
Assign repairs and maintenance duties to staff when possible. Contact maintenance or direct supervisor to address facility issues.
Assists direct supervisor with contracting for approved services and evaluates performance of contractors.
