Job summary

Beacon Specialized is seeking a dedicated supervisor to lead DSP teams and manage assigned homes. You will ensure regulatory compliance, coordinate with clinical staff to maintain residents’ health and safety, and oversee contracted services and facility operations.

The role requires leadership in healthcare settings, commitment to TB screenings where required, and ensuring high-quality care aligned with person-centered plans.

Qualifications

• 2+ years college coursework in business, social science, or related human service discipline preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2-3 years’ leadership experience in healthcare or behavioral healthcare field preferred.
• 1-2 years’ management or supervisory experience preferred.
• Approved by state, federal and government entities to work within BSLS programs.
• Maintain industry required trainings and TB screenings (for select markets).

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned home(s) ensuring budgets and clinical effectiveness targets.
• Supervise Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) ensuring proper training and skills.
• Maintain homes and facilities in good working order.
• Assign repairs and maintenance tasks and contact maintenance as needed.
• Assist with contracting and evaluating performance of contractors.
• Collaborate with clinical team to ensure proper clinical actions for residents.
• Oversee activities to enrich residents social, emotional, mental, and physical needs.
• Communicate with clinical, medical, and regulatory agencies as required.
