Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or two years of college preferred.
• Six months of related healthcare or customer service experience preferred.
• On the job training available for individuals without prior healthcare experience.
• Basic computer and customer service skills required.
• Cultural competency to work with a diverse patient population.
• Bilingual fluency preferred.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and EPIC skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and prepares exam rooms, ensuring they are cleaned, sterilized, and stocked appropriately.
• Assists with scheduling appointments for general follow ups, testing, and procedures.
• Provides discharge summary requirements and next steps.
• Helps with sensitive exam requirements.
• Ensures all faxing and printing documents are complete.
• Performs related job duties as necessary.
