Job summary

Empath Health's Trustbridge Hospice seeks an RN Care Support Supervisor to lead daily operations for Care Support, Clinical Staffing, and Crisis Care within the Broward region. You will guide staff performance, coordinate scheduling, and collaborate with clinical teams to deliver high-quality patient care.

The role requires FL RN licensure, BLS, and at least 1 year of leadership experience in hospice or related fields, with EMR proficiency.

Qualifications

• RN license in Florida (current).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• 1+ year of leadership experience in hospice, oncology, med/surg, or home health.
• Expertise in support skills, palliative care, and educational techniques.
• Basic computer skills and EMR experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of daily operations across Care Support, Clinical Staffing, and Crisis Care.
• Manage and evaluate staff performance, coaching and professional development.
• Develop and maintain schedules to ensure staffing coverage and efficiency.
• Direct and support Care Support staff, fostering accountability and teamwork.
• Coordinate clinical/patient care activities to ensure quality outcomes and satisfaction.
• Act as liaison between administration, physicians, coordinators, and clinical staff.

Empath Trustbridge Hospice is seeking an RN Care Support Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of assigned regions, including Support Center, Clinical Staffing, and Crisis Care functions in our Broward office. The role serves as both the professional and administrative leader for Care Support staff, fostering collaboration among clinical teams, physicians, coordinators, and administrative leadership. If you are a leader who can drive operational excellence, manage staff performance, and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and support services. Your schedule will be: 7pm - 7:30am and every other weekend.

What you'll do

• Provide overall leadership and oversight of daily operations for assigned regions, including Support Center, Clinical Staffing, and Crisis Care services.

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor clinical and patient care activities across assigned teams to ensure quality outcomes and patient satisfaction.
• Serve as a liaison between administration, physicians, coordinators, and clinical staff, promoting effective communication and collaboration.

What You'll Need

• Registered Nurse currently licensed in the State of Florida.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• One year of recent leadership experience in hospice, oncology, medical/surgical, or home health, public/health, geriatric care experience preferred.
• Expertise in support skills, palliative care, and educational techniques.
• Basic computer skills and EMR software experience a plus.
