Front Porch in Claremont, CA is seeking a Care Services Manager for full-time, salaried, 7am-3:30pm shift. Under the direction of the Executive Director/Director of Health Services, you will coordinate, supervise and direct the work of the Assisted Living staff to meet resident needs in accordance with Federal and State regulations and company policy.

Essential qualifications include California LVN license, CPR and First Aid certificates, and a high school diploma or GED.

Summary:
Under the direction of the Executive Director/ Director of Health Services, the Care Services Manager is responsible for the coordination, supervision and directing of the work of the Assisted Living staff and ensures the resident needs are met according to Federal and State regulations as well as Company Policy.

Competencies and skills:

Essential:

• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
• Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
• Ability to write reports business correspondence, and procedure manuals

Credentials:

Essential:

• Licensed Vocational Nurse - California
• CPR certificate
• First Aid certificate

Nonessential:

• Registered Nurse - California

Education with Equivalent Qualifications:

Essential:

• High School diploma or GED

Experience with Equivalent Qualifications:

Nonessential:

• 5 Years 5 years experience working in a senior community
• 0 Year long term care, geriatric and/or rehabilitative nurse
• 0 Year Supervisory experience
